Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. The button opens a standard wa.me chat link, which works with any WhatsApp number — no API application, no per-conversation fees.
What happens when a visitor clicks the button?
A small chat card opens with your greeting. When they tap "Start chat", WhatsApp opens (app on mobile, WhatsApp Web on desktop) with your pre-filled message ready to send.
Can I choose which corner it sits in?
Yes — bottom-right or bottom-left, with your own greeting text, display name and accent color.
Will it cover my page content?
The collapsed bubble is a 60px circle floating above the corner of the page; the chat card only opens when clicked and closes with one tap or Esc.
