Google Reviews Widget for Your Website
Put your Google reviews on your website: search for your business, pick a layout, paste two lines of HTML. Stars, review text and your owner replies — on WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow or any hand-written site.

Pairs well with the FAQ widget on service pages and the WhatsApp button for instant enquiries.
The basics
What is a Google reviews widget?
A Google reviews widget is a block you embed on your own site that shows the reviews people have left on your Google Business Profile. Google does not publish an official one, so reviews only reach your website through a third-party embed like this.
StellaFrame pulls your business’s public reviews in once you pick it by name, keeps them, and serves them to your page as one small async script. Visitors see the stars, the review text and any replies you wrote — styled to match your site rather than Google’s.
Layouts
Which layout should you use?
Rotates through reviews inside a fixed height. Best on a home page, where it has to sit in a band between other sections.
Two to four across, all visible at once. Best on a dedicated testimonials page, where the wall of proof is the point.
One per row with the full text, nothing cropped. Best on a service or pricing page, where people are already reading closely.
Just the score, the star row and the review count. Best in a header, footer or sidebar where there is no room for more.
Installing
Where the embed goes on your platform
It is the same two lines everywhere — a div and a script tag. All that changes is what your platform calls the box you paste them into.
Add a Custom HTML block where the reviews should appear and paste both lines in.
Online Store → Themes → Customize, add a Custom Liquid section, paste.
Add a Code block to the page and paste.
Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML, paste, then drag the box to the height you want.
Drop an Embed element where the reviews go and paste.
Paste the two lines straight into your markup at the spot the reviews belong.

Questions
Google Reviews Widget for Your Website — FAQ
Do I need a Google API key to show my reviews?
No. StellaFrame fetches your reviews for you when you search your business name — there is nothing to configure in Google Cloud and no key to paste.
Do new Google reviews appear automatically?
Your widget always serves the newest set of reviews StellaFrame holds for your business, and you can pull in new ones from the dashboard whenever you like. It is not a live read of Google on every pageview — that would make your page wait on someone else’s server.
Can I hide low ratings?
You can set a minimum star rating (for example 4★ and up) and show only reviews with text. The aggregate rating shown in the header always stays the real Google number.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes — one full widget with every layout and setting, up to 100 reviews shown and 300 views per month, with a small "Powered by" line. Pro ($5/mo flat) runs up to 3 widgets with 100,000 views each and no watermark.
Will this show star ratings for my site in Google search results?
No — and treat any widget that promises it with suspicion. Google stopped showing review stars for reviews a business publishes about itself back in 2019, calling them self-serving. StellaFrame publishes no review markup on your page at all, so there is nothing there for Google to read that way. The widget is for the visitors already on your site.
Will it slow my site down?
It is about 16 KB gzipped in total, loaded asynchronously, so it never holds up the rest of your page. It draws inside a Shadow DOM, which means it cannot inherit your theme’s CSS or leak its own into it.
What happens if I pass the free plan’s monthly views?
The widget shows a short notice in place of the reviews until the month resets, and the dashboard shows the count as it climbs. Nothing is deleted and the embed code never changes — upgrading to Pro ($5/mo) turns it straight back on.
