Privacy policy

StellaFrame ("we") provides embeddable widgets that display a business's public Google reviews or Instagram posts on its own website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and a salted hash of your password. If you sign in with Google we store your Google account identifier and the email address Google provides. We never store plain passwords.
Content you connect: at your request we fetch and store the public reviews of the business you select — author name and profile photo/link, rating, text, any business-owner reply, and relative date — and public Instagram posts (image, caption, permalink) so your widgets can display them.
Instagram connection (optional): if you use "Connect Instagram", we store the access token Instagram issues so we can fetch your account's posts. It is encrypted at rest and deleted when you disconnect or delete your account.
Usage metering: a per-widget monthly view counter (a number — we do not store visitor identities, IP addresses, or profiles of people who see widgets on your site).
Billing: payments are processed by Stripe; we store your plan and a subscription reference, never card numbers.

You can permanently delete your account and all of the above at any time from the dashboard (Delete account), which also cancels any active subscription.

What we don't do

No advertising, and no sale of personal data.
No tracking cookies — the dashboard keeps your session token in your own browser's local storage; embedded widgets set no cookies on your visitors.

Where data lives

Our infrastructure runs on cloud hosting (currently Cloudflare and our application host) and email is delivered by our email provider. These processors handle data only to provide the service.

Retention & your rights

Account data is kept while your account exists. Deleting a widget or business removes its stored reviews; deleting your account removes everything. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time at support@stellaframe.com.

Review content

Reviews shown in widgets are public content authored by their reviewers on Google. If you are a reviewer and want content removed from a widget, contact the business displaying it or email us and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date.
